Time-of-Use Tariff Modelling

Pylon now supports Time-of-Use (ToU) tariffs in our energy simulations. This means your battery savings calculations will now account for peak, off-peak, and shoulder rates—giving your customers a much more accurate picture of their potential savings.

What’s included

  • Off-peak charging simulation: Batteries will now simulate charging during off-peak periods
  • Accurate savings estimates: Proposals now reflect real-world savings based on your customer’s actual tariff structure
  • Support for existing solar: Simulations now properly account for homes with existing solar installations

How to use this

Select a Time-of-Use tariff from the electricity tariff search. Pylon will automatically use the tariff schedule to optimise battery charging and discharging in your simulations.

Jog-wheel for Panel Rotation

Rotating panels on mobile devices just got a whole lot easier. We’ve introduced a jogwheel control that gives you precise rotation without the frustration of overshooting your target angle.

Simply tap and drag the jogwheel to rotate your panel selection. This is especially useful when designing on-site with a tablet or mobile device.

Proposal Counter-signing

Sales-representatives can now counter-sign proposals after a customer has signed. This keeps the entire contract process within Pylon—no need for separate signing tools.

How to set up Counter-signing

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Draw or upload your signature
  3. Enable counter-signing for your team

Once enabled, proposals will automatically include your counter-signing.
